Key decision makers and influencers from across the region gathered at the Preston Marriott hotel to hear the results of this year’s Lancashire Business Survey, a joint initiative run by lobbying group Downtown Lancashire in Business and Forbes Solicitors.
Over 160 businesses were surveyed and shared their views on the business sector in the county with positive results reflecting a renewed confidence in the region.
During his visit to the area, Adam Posen, a member of the Monetary Policy Committee at the Bank of England, talked openly about the current state of the market and the decision to launch a second round of quantitative easing, injecting £75billion into the economy to stimulate growth in the UK.
